Delivery

UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery to UK mainland addresses is carriage paid on orders with a net value of £250 or more.

For orders below this value, a £25 carriage and handling charge will apply.

Non-Mainland UK & International Delivery

For deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses (including Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland) and international destinations, carriage charges will be quoted separately. Please contact us for a shipping quotation before placing your order.

Despatch & Lead Times

We aim to despatch all orders as quickly as possible.

  • Where items are in stock, our typical lead time is 3–5 working days from order acceptance.

  • Where items are not in stock, we will notify you within 48 hours with an expected lead time.

As a working factory, many items are made to order, which can result in longer lead times, particularly where materials are required from third-party suppliers. We will always advise you where this applies.

Delivery Method

  • LTL (palletised) shipments will be delivered on wooden pallets and must be offloaded by the recipient.

  • Smaller consignments will be delivered via one of our parcel carriers.

We currently use APC, UPS, ADD and Harbour Freight, depending on shipment size, destination and service requirements.

Signed Deliveries

All deliveries must be signed for. If deliveries require advance booking, this must be advised at the point of order.

Inspection on Delivery

Customers are responsible for inspecting goods on delivery.

Any shortages or damage must be clearly noted on the carrier’s delivery paperwork at the time of delivery. Failure to endorse delivery notes accordingly may result in no credit or replacement being issued.

Claims for Loss or Damage

Liability for damage or partial loss can only be accepted where written notification is received within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims for non-receipt of goods must be notified in writing within 14 days of the invoice date.
